Kitchen Tune-Up /The Handyman is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking dedicated team members to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are looking for career-minded remodelers or construction professionals who are eager to learn new techniques and seek a stable, well-paying career.

This is a hands-on position; the ability to safely operate power hand tools is beneficial. Training will be provided for cabinet redoing, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and handyman skills. Our service areas include North and South Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry.
2. Address plumbing and electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
3. Follow Trustpoints on every project and job site.
4. Follow instructions from the project manager.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area and clean up daily.
6. Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects.
7. Communicate daily with the project manager about progress.
8. Work efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Handyman, Carpenter, or similar role.
2. Ability to drill for hinges and install doors, drawer fronts, and roll-out trays.
3. Effective use of hand and power tools.
4. Strong problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
7. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
9. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
10. Ability to operate power hand tools safely, including table saws, band saws, routers, planers, and nail guns.
11. Professional and friendly interaction with customers.
12. Reliable transportation.
13. Experience with hand tools; having own tools is a plus but not required.
14. Neat appearance.
