Job summary
Mountaintop Construction Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Carpenter Apprentice & Custom Framing / Finish Assistant to join our Towaco field team.
You will work alongside seasoned lead carpenters on high-end residential remodels and commercial fit-outs, gaining hands-on experience in framing, cabinet setting, and finish trim installation. We offer weekly pay, paid training, mentorship toward Journeyman and Lead Carpenter roles, and a team-oriented, safety-focused workplace with profit-sharing
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in general construction, carpentry assistance, framing, or remodeling.
- Familiar with standard carpentry hand and power tools.
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding.
- Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, eager to learn the trade.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport to travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead carpenters with rough framing, modifications, and finish carpentry.
- Help with site layout, measurements, and wall/floor/roof layouts.
- Support installation of cabinets, doors, crown molding, trim, and millwork.
- Stage and organize materials and ensure safety and cleanliness on site.
- Learn blueprint reading and carpentry techniques from senior leads.
- Communicate clearly with team and project managers to stay on schedule.
