Duties And Essential Job Functions

• Ability to read architectural floor plans and door/hardware schedule
• Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as-needed basis
• Cursory knowledge of the construction industry and processes and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers
• Proficiency in installation of all doors and mechanical hardware (exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in installation of wood frames
• Basic knowledge of electrified hardware
• Expert understanding of major manufacturer’s products (Assa, Allegion, Dorma Kaba, Stanley/Best) and their applications
• Ability to lead and carry out installation of minor door and hardware tasks
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed
• Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Effective communication skills with customers and team members
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers

• OSHA 10
• OSHA 30

• Cordless drill set with tips (impact and driver drill)

• Power tools: skill saw, angle grinder, hammer drill, router
• Additional suggested tools: laser level, multi-tool (OIS)
