Job summary

DISCOUNT ROOF INC is seeking a full-time roofing/carpentry professional to perform a range of carpentry and roofing tasks. The role involves building, repairing, and shaping materials, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will work with a crew to complete jobs efficiently, follow project plans, and contribute to office or project-specific tasks as needed. A valid driver’s license is required, and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques used in building and roofing.
• Comfortable working at heights and following safety procedures.
• Good communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials safely.

• Assist with building additional items for the office or special projects
• Follow all company and departmental safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed for the company.

IDEAL CANIDATE

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques used in building, repair, and remodeling
• Comfortable working at heights and following safety procedures
• Good communication, customer service, and leadership skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Strong physical stamina and endurance, with the ability to lift heavy materials safely
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work full-time with occasional overtime when necessary
