Job summary

Land to Living, Inc. in the Lake Tahoe area is seeking a Construction Carpenter to perform hands-on wood framing and related finish work. The role requires general construction knowledge and the ability to work with various building systems.

You will contribute to framing, formwork, and other trades as needed, with standard hours from 7:00am to 4:00pm, 40 hours weekly. Health insurance and employer-matched 401K are provided. Candidates should be detail‑oriented and proactive in problem solving.

Summary:

The Construction Carpenter is responsible for performing various hands‑on tasks primarily working with wood, but other materials from time to time as well. A fitting candidate must have prior construction experience and a general, well‑rounded knowledge of the construction of a variety of building systems and finishes.

Requirements:

• general, well‑rounded knowledge of construction and related codes

• thorough knowledge of construction means/methods, materials, systems and integration of various disciplines
• compensation will be based on history and qualifications
• forty hours per week during regular business hours of 7:00am – 4:00pm (shifts 30 mins. based on time of year)
