Job summary

Morgan Corp.’s Industrial Division is seeking an experienced Industrial Carpenter to join our team in Blythewood, SC. This full-time role performs skilled carpentry on industrial construction projects, including concrete formwork, structural installations, and related activities, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of carpentry experience in industrial settings, can read construction drawings, and safely operate hand and power tools on busy job sites

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of carpentry experience, preferably in industrial or heavy civil construction.
• Experience with concrete formwork, foundations, and structural carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and dismantle concrete formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and equipment pads.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to project requirements.
• Perform concrete-related work, including setting forms, placing embedded items, and assisting with concrete pours.
• Install anchor bolts, embeds, and other structural components.
• Build and install temporary structures, scaffolding, bracing, and supports as needed.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with rigging, material handling, and positioning construction materials.
• Work alongside other trades, including ironworkers, pipefitters, electricians, and equipment operators.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and job site procedures.
• Perform additional construction duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent.

We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Carpenter to join our team.
