Role Overview

Our expanding construction group is looking for a skilled Carpenter to contribute to diverse institutional, municipal, commercial, and renovation assignments across Connecticut. We need a professional who combines technical precision with the ability to maintain high productivity and safety standards within a dynamic job site setting.

Core Duties

• Execute both rough and finish carpentry tasks across various commercial and renovation sites
• Analyze blueprints and technical project documentation to guide construction efforts
• Complete framing, drywall installation, door and hardware fitting, and trim work
• Support the execution of building upgrades, alterations, and structural renovations
• Ensure precise measurement, cutting, and placement of all building materials
• Construct, restore, and adjust partitions, ceilings, walls, and related structural elements
• Utilize hand and power equipment in a secure and effective manner
• Help prepare job sites by assisting with necessary demolition tasks
• Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, site supervisors, and other trade professionals
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the site orderly
• Uphold project quality standards and safety protocols to ensure successful outcomes
• Proactively report field-related challenges to management to help minimize project delays

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in commercial construction or professional carpentry
• Comprehensive understanding of modern carpentry materials, specialized tools, and construction methods
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and adhering to specific project requirements
• Background in institutional or commercial renovation work is highly valued

• Dependable transportation and a current driver's license are preferred
