Job description

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare the building foundation layout
  • Form and pour concrete foundations for walls and footings
  • Work with materials such as wood, plastic, steel, or concrete
  • Utilize hand and power tools and work in accordance with company and OSHA safety best practices
  • Frame floors, walls and roof structures
  • Perform finish carpentry, and install doors/frames & hardware, and windows
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts. Proper company certification is provided and required
  • Work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffolding
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize risk of workplace accidents
  • Report any unsafe workplace conditions or unsafe acts by others to management immediately

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certification
  • 2 years carpentry experience required
  • Ability to travel to jobsites within the Central Oregon Region
  • Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per job
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints (preferred)
