Job summary

Tradesmen International in Pickerington, OH is seeking experienced Journeyman Carpenters for first shift on commercial construction projects. Up to $32/hour based on experience. You will join a team that values safety, productivity, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, framing with metal studs, installing doors and trim, measuring and cutting materials, and adhering to OSHA procedures. PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Must have PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, high-visibility vest, and appropriate work boots.

• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Install metal studs, framing, blocking, backing, and structural supports.
• Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other building components.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials.
• Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work alongside other trades and follow direction from supervisors and project managers.
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level.
