Job summary

MC², based in Pen Argyl, PA, seeks a Carpenter for full-time labor in our exhibits production facility. You will assist with moving freight, unpacking, inspecting for damage, and performing repairs as needed to ensure flawless setups for trade shows.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assembling exhibits, and documenting contents. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, read a tape measure to 1/16

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 3+ months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to read/write routine reports and correspondence.

Position Summary/General Description:

Assist in pulling freight from the warehouse to the set-up area. Unpack and inspect for damages. If damage is evident, report to supervisor and complete repairs. Repairs will include but not be limited to peeling laminate, fixing damage and relaminating. Writing case lists to document contents packed on skids or in crates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
• Writing and reading comprehension
