Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Carpenter to join our Engineering team. The role focuses on furniture repair, wood finishing, painting, drywall repair, and wallpapering with emphasis on finish and trim carpentry.

The position requires high school or equivalent with a minimum of three years’ hotel/resort experience, strong customer service, and solid communication. OSHA guidelines apply; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; indoor, fast-paced work environment.

Job duties include, although are not limited to: repair and maintenance of furniture; finish of wood surfaces; painting and dry wall repair; and wall papering. The Carpenter must be experienced in furniture repair, finish carpentry, trim carpentry, painting and dry wall repair and maintenance. This position also requires someone who is knowledgeable and has experience with wood finishing products, painting products and equipment, and OSHA standards for chemical use.***QUALIFICATIONS**** High school or equivalent education required. Position requires walking, standing, and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
