Role Description

The Carpenter role at Gloval Displays is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami Gardens, FL. The Carpenter will construct, assemble, and install custom display components using wood, laminates, and other materials according to detailed plans and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and framing materials; performing finish carpentry for high-quality visual presentation; and safely operating hand tools and power tools in a workshop environment. The role also involves collaborating with designers and project managers, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality checks, and assisting with preparation for installation at client sites. The Carpenter is expected to maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills, including experience with custom builds and structural Framing.
• Proficiency in safe use of Power Tools and Hand Tools in a production or shop environment.
• Experience with Finish Carpentry, including precise fitting, trimming, and surface preparation for high-end displays.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to producing high-quality work within deadlines.
• Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
• Previous experience in display fabrication, millwork, cabinetry, or related carpentry fields is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related trade is an asset.
