Job summary

The Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build and repair carpentry items across the property and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards. You will operate hand tools, fabricate cabinetry, and perform routine maintenance with high quality and safety in mind.

Minimum five years journeyman carpentry experience, ability to read shop drawings, and strong communication in English are essential. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring flexibility for overtime.

• Five years journeyman carpentry experience.
• General maintenance carpentry, cabinetry, furniture repair and shop drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Must have five years Carpentry Shop experience. Maintenance carpentry, cabinetry, furniture, build and repair.
• Create shop drawings, general hotel room repair and maintenance.
• Hang artwork, hang signage, finish carpentry, brass, plastics, laminate, commercial door hardware, moldings, adhesives.
• Must be able to operate hand tools, and any related carpentry equipment. Must provide all hand tools necessary.
• Miscellaneous carpentry repair throughout the property.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Work overtime weekends and holidays.
• Assist other trades when necessary.
