Job summary
Ziegler Industries in Lafayette, IN is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. You will perform framing, drywall, painting, and related carpentry tasks on industrial and construction projects with safety and quality as priorities.

As a Skilled Carpenter, you'll use your construction experience to complete a variety of framing, drywall, painting, and related tasks. You'll work alongside a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Metal and wood stud framing.
- Drywall installation and related work.
- Painting and finishing tasks.
- Supporting construction and industrial projects.
- Working with team members to complete assignments safely and efficiently.
- Learning additional trades and skills as needed.
- Working occasional nights and weekends based on project requirements.
- Traveling to other work locations as needed.
Qualified candidates should have:
- Experience with metal stud and wood stud framing.
- Knowledge of drywall installation and painting.
- Skilled carpentry or construction experience.
- A willingness to learn new skills and trades.
- A reliable, responsible, and safety-focused work ethic.
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Availability Monday-Friday, with potential 10-hour shifts.
- Flexibility for occasional weekend and night shift work.
- Ability to travel as needed.
