Smugglers' Notch Resort in Vermont is seeking an in-house carpenter to build, install, maintain, and repair structures around the resort. This is a year-round, full-time position with pay commensurate with experience.

The role includes sheetrocking, taping, painting, preparing layouts, selecting lumber, and ensuring compliance with building codes. You will work on interior and exterior trim, window/door assemblies, and hardware installations while inspecting for wear and coordinating upkeep.

• Provides consultation for designs, renovations, and projects of any size, including fire regulations, costs, planning, scheduling, building codes, and safety considerations.
• Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, sheetrock, and interior/exterior trim; installs finish hardware such as locks, letter drops, and kick plates.
• Inspects buildings for damage and wear, schedules maintenance and regulates work.
