Job summary

Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Carpenter for the TCTX Charenton Floodgate Replacement project in Jeanerette, LA. The candidate will build and install wooden structures for bridges, walls, and related components on commercial and heavy civil sites.

Responsibilities include measuring, marking, assembling, and using carpentry tools, with potential to work across the Transportation division. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

Archer Western Construction, LLC is currently seeking a Carpenter for the TCTX, Charenton Floodgate Replacement , in Jeanerette, LA).

The Carpenter constructs, erects, installs structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
