Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Carpenter for the 225167- Volume 3E - Pumping and Conveyance in Arcadia, FL. The Carpenter constructs and installs wooden structures for commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities include measuring and marking guidelines, preparing and installing wood structures, assisting with awnings and metal decking, and using carpentry equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.
• Must follow safety policies and communicate effectively with team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance and mark guidelines on working surface to prepare for laying down work.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridges, drainage structures, walls, and other structures.
• Assist with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs (if decking is removed).
• Use carpenter’s belt with hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking machinery.

Archer Western Construction, LLC is currently seeking a Carpenter for the 225167- Volume 3E - Pumping and Conveyance, in Arcadia, FL.

The Carpenter constructs, erects, installs structures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

RESPONSABILIDADES

CALIFICACIONES
