Job summary

Moyle Construction in Michigan is seeking Carpenters to join our team in Houghton or the surrounding area. Whether you’re seasoned or just starting out, we welcome all experience levels and provide training to help you grow in your career.

Join our crew to work on commercial projects from framing to finishing, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools with a focus on quality and safety. We offer year-round work, a starting wage of $25–$35 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Physical strength and stamina required for outdoor work, lifting and moving materials.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to take direction.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety on site.
• Experience in carpentry is preferred, but training is available for newcomers.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial construction projects from framing to finishing.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to build high-quality structures.
• Read blueprints and follow project specifications.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $25.00 – $35.00 per hour starting wage.
• Interesting and challenging projects generally working Monday-Friday. Flexibility on work hours required based on project needs.

• Discretionary bonus based on personal contributions and company results.

• Work on a variety of commercial construction projects, from framing to finishing.

• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

• Physical Strength and Stamina.This is a hands-on, physical job. You’ll need to be able to work outdoors; lift, carry, and move materials throughout the day, as well as climb ladders, lifts and scaffolding.

• Attention to Detail.Quality and safety are our top priority. We need team members who are aware of their surroundings, precise and committed to doing the job right.
• Experiencein carpentry (but we’re happy to train those new to the field).
