Job summary

Terminix in Hayward, CA is seeking a hands‑on Field Technician to perform carpentry repairs and communicate with customers about termite activity. You will work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols.

No prior pest control experience is required — we WILL TRAIN you. A High school diploma or GED is needed, with construction knowledge preferred. Benefits start day 1; pay ranges from $17.16 to $25.75 per hour; 401(k) with company match included.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carpentry Skills - Work hands‑on daily performing structural repairs caused by termite damage including repairs to fascia boards, sheathing, eaves, rafters, wood siding, trim, roofing, sub‑floors, decks & patios etc.
• Customer Experience - Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process.
• Continuous Learning - WILL TRAIN No experience in pest control necessary. Robust training is provided for all required duties to ensure you have the knowledge and abilities to complete work safely.

Position Requirements

• Operate and maintain your equipment and vehicle in a state of cleanliness and good working order.
• Safely climb and use a ladder
• Crawl through attics and sub-areas
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
• Must posses valid driver’s license from state of residence

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of customer service
• Construction knowledge and experience is required

Pay Range

Hourly: $17.16 - $25.75
