Job summary

Tessera is seeking a skilled Carpenter to support maintenance and construction of buildings and structures on site at a federal facility. The role emphasizes inspecting, repairing, and upgrading interiors and exteriors while following environmental protection standards.

Minimum three years of carpentry experience is required; Journeyman level preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearances are necessary for site access. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and comprehend building specifications, blueprints, and maps.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair buildings, structures, and associated property.
  • Layout, install, replace, repair, and remove interior and exterior walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • Maintain finishes and decor to match existing appearance and ensure environmental resistance.
  • Maintain records and ensure installations meet environmental protection requirements.
  • Operate and maintain required carpentry equipment and tools.
