Job summary

Prince is seeking skilled carpenters for outdoor heavy highway and bridge projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will measure, cut, mark, and assemble materials to build wood or metal frameworks and read blueprints to determine dimensions.

The role requires 4-5 years of relevant experience, strong physical stamina for outdoor work in Florida heat and rain, and solid communication skills for coordinating with teams on site.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 4-5 years experience working in heavy highway / bridge environment.
  • Must possess ability to perform physical activities to include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Must possess good communication skills to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Must be available to work on average ten hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) per week; outdoors in Florida heat and rain; around heavy highway traffic areas.
