Job description

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble formwork systems for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Precisely cut, measure and install construction materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for carpentry tasks.
• Install anchor bolts, steel embed plates, and other fixtures in formwork.
• Removal and wrecking of formwork after concrete has cured.
• General knowledge and ability to interpret construction drawings and documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years commercial carpentry experience required.
• Work in compliance with safety protocols and enforce the company standards.
• Perform work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety on the jobsite.
• Commitment to train, mentor, and share knowledge and skills with apprentices or junior carpenters.
