Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally is seeking skilled carpenters for residential projects in the Culpeper/Spotsylvania area. Most work is completed independently on client sites, including bathroom remodeling, drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and related interior work.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of carpentry or remodeling experience, can read a scope, owns their own tools, and maintains reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on residential projects.
• Perform bathroom remodeling, drywall repair/finishing, trim carpentry, light framing and repairs, fascia board replacement, interior painting related to carpentry, and general residential repair.
• Review project scope, determine materials, and pick up materials from local suppliers.
• Travel to job sites within the Culpeper/Spotsylvania service area.

What You'll Be Doing

Most of your time will be spent working independently on residential projects.

• Bathroom remodeling
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, etc.)
• Light framing and carpentry repairs
• Fascia board replacement
• Interior painting related to carpentry work
• General residential repair and improvement projects

Carpenters regularly perform drywall work on our jobs, so drywall experience is important.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Working at residential job sites
• Completing carpentry and remodeling work
• Reviewing the scope of work for each project
• Determining materials needed for the job
• Picking up materials from local suppliers
• Traveling to job sites within our service area

Most work takes place within Culpeper and Spotsylvania.
