• Inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures with minor demolition.

Job Location: Commercial Carpenter - Bedford, MA 01730Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: DayJob Category: ConstructionPosition Summary: The Carpenters construct, repair or modify building systems to include metal framed partitions, doors/frame/hardware, drywall, flooring, ceiling systems, millwork, and concrete work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Measure, cut, install metal studs, drywall, wood blocking, ceilings, flooring, formwork, and other materials
• Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis
• Layout and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and door systems.
• Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures, with minor demolition
