Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Mechanic (Tech 4 or Higher) for the Carlin Process Maintenance department. You will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild processing equipment, including crushers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors, in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic measurements and drawings.
• Operate safely with attention to attendance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild processing equipment, including crushers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors.
• Replace and align belts, motors, pulleys, and conveyor rollers.
• Perform welding and other maintenance tasks in processing facilities.
• Maintain safety and attendance record; work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild processing equipment, including, but not limited to crushers, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and motors within the processing facilities
• Replace and align belts, motors, pulleys, and conveyor rollers
• Various types of welding and/or any other types of maintenance associated with processing facilities
• Three (3) or more years’ of process facilities maintenance experience
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
• Proven excellent safety and attendance record
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job
