Job Description

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Carlin Site Services Facility Technicians will be responsible for keeping mining facilities functioning and in good order. Work includes outdoor, mine settings, which may include exposure to large equipment, working on uneven surfaces, working in extreme temperatures. Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively perform maintenance on industrial, commercial and residential facilities.
• Safely and effectively perform facility repair and remodeling.
• Safely and effectively perform concrete flat work, tile, drywall, painting and welding.
• Safely and effectively operate excavation equipment and tools.
• Safely and effectively perform roof repairs.
• Safely and effectively perform door and lockset repairs.
• Work closely with HVAC technicians to perform needed replacement and repairs.
• Accurately read blueprints for facilities.
• Safely and effectively perform low voltage electrical work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years previous construction and maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 90 pounds required.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Electrical experience / training required.
• Plumbing, carpentry, welding and HVAC knowledge required.
• Perform job responsibilities with integrity under minimal to no supervision required.
• Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently required.
• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required.
• Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required.
• Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards required.
• Willingness to work weekends and possible overtime required.
