Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician for Carlin, NV. The role involves maintaining and repairing mining facilities in outdoor, uneven, and sometimes extreme conditions as part of a safety-focused team.

You will work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and welding tasks, reading blueprints, and ensuring facilities meet operational standards in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years construction and maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding and HVAC knowledge required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proven attention to detail with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively perform maintenance on industrial, commercial and residential facilities.

• Safely and effectively perform concrete flat work, tile, drywall, painting and welding.

The Carlin Site Services Facility Technicians will be responsible for keeping mining facilities functioning and in good order. Work includes outdoor, mine setting, which may include exposure to large equipment, working on uneven surfaces, working in extreme temperatures. Responsibilities

• Valid drivers' license is required.
• 4 years Mining experience is preferred.
• Overhead door repair experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 90 pounds required.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Electrical experience / training required.
• Plumbing, carpentry, welding and HVAC knowledge required.
• Perform job responsibilities with integrity under minimal to no supervision required.
• Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy required.
• Excellent organizational, time management skills required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently required.
• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, with a courteous and pleasant customer service focus required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required.
• Capability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required.
