Job summary

Ivy Park at Salinas, a premier senior living community, seeks a Housekeeper to clean resident apartments and common areas, with a primary focus on laundry, in a friendly, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include laundry, ironing, and maintaining a safe setting. Must be 18+, with a HS diploma or equivalent, and pass background/health checks. PPE and health screenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
