Job summary

Ciel Plainfield LLC is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents in our community. The associate will clean resident rooms, public areas, restrooms, and should be capable of using standard housekeeping equipment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with residents and staff, and adherence to schedule and quality standards. Training is provided to ensure up-to-date skills and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of housekeeping.
• Ability to use all required equipment.
• Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and time management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
• Must work well within a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains assigned areas including public areas and resident rooms.
• Cleans restrooms, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuums carpeted areas and mops tile floors.
• Spot cleans walls and windows.
• Dusts furniture and empties trashcans.
• Cleans baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
• Assists with activity room set-ups and moves furniture as needed.
• Attends required trainings and staff meetings.
• Performs other duties to support residents’ comfort and happiness.
