Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA)/Caregiver in Cheney, KS to provide compassionate, in-home support for seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, transportation, and companionship, while documenting client status for supervisors and maintaining a safe home environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and KS Home Care Aide registration. Aide-to-client ratios are kept small to ensure personalized care and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active KS Home Care Aide (HCA) registration is required/preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and good communicator with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor.
• Create a safe home environment and encourage client engagement in activities.
