Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, TX is seeking an Unlicensed Nursing Assistant to join our patient care team. In this role you will perform designated patient care activities under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, following physicians' orders and established care standards.

You will not administer medications or therapies but will support daily tasks to promote comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Provides designated patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Records intake/output and other observations in the chart.
• Assists in daily living activities and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families.
• Uses equipment safely and maintains cleanliness of units.
