Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, serving pediatric and/or adult populations. Competitive hourly pay of $34-$38 plus weekly paychecks is offered along with comprehensive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and delivering services according to orders while monitoring patient status and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
