Mentor Hills Post Acute is hiring a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support food service operations in a healthcare setting. The role involves learning routines quickly, setting up meal trays, serving meals, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper food handling, following recipes, and collaborating with staff across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and employees.

Responsabilités

• Learn food service routine quickly and perform duties.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain sanitation.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage; store groceries safely.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary; assist cook or supervisor as needed.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training for dietary staff.
