Job summary

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or 1 year related experience/training.
• Prior housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred.
• Must be a supportive team member and able to work in a team.
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm; able to handle difficult residents.
• Ability to relate information about a resident's condition to supervisor or nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist and work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to maintain clean, orderly conditions of the facility.
• Create a positive environment and support residents, families, and staff.
• Communicate resident condition to supervisor or nurse as needed.
