Job summary

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• License/Certification – Food Handlers Certificate (NMED) required within 30 days.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Open/Close Department as scheduled.
• Prepare, serve and assist in meals for patients, staff and visitors.
• Maintain food quality, safety and sanitation.
• Cover multiple dietary roles as needed.
• Monitor temperatures and label/dating of foods.
• Assist with stocking and FIFO inventory.
• Provide all dietary functions per policy.
• Operate dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET.
