Job summary

The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to keep resident areas clean and safe for everyone in the facility. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning, and general sanitization in accordance with standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and good English reading/writing skills. LTC experience is a plus; must be 18 or older. Background screening applies; we are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Subject to Florida background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks such as dusting and mopping and collecting trash.
• Maintain resident rooms, dining areas, offices and general areas by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow proper cleaning techniques and protocols.
