Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Food Service Team member to support resident meals and dining operations on site. You will verify meal requests, assist cooks, and help serve meals while maintaining a clean dining area and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation work in a service environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Understanding of Morning Pointe philosophy and its five health domains.
• Flexible work schedule is a necessity.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and families and communicate needs and plans of service.
• Verify resident meal requests and relay to the cook.
• Brew coffee/tea and serve water and juice as requested; assist with serving meals.
• Bus tables, reset for the next meal, and keep dining room clean.
• Refill condiments; replace tablecloth toppers as needed.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; assist with food preparation as directed.
• Assist in serving meals and tray preparation for residents.
• Clean dining room, tables, chairs, floors; vacuum as needed.
• Clean food prep area and dishes; take out trash; mop floors.
• Help with daily and weekly kitchen cleaning; follow safety and infection control policies.
• Report hazards/accidents to supervisor; maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Adhere to dress code and attendance policy; provide consistent customer service.
