Avera Health is seeking a PRN Food Service Worker for the Avera Mother Joseph Manor Retirement Community. You will prepare, cook, serve and distribute meals for patients, residents, staff and guests, according to approved menus.

The role requires flexible hours across day/evening/night/weekends/holidays with rotating shifts; prior food service preferred; ServSafe certification preferred; strong customer service and teamwork.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification required upon hire.
• Less than 1 year food service education or training.

Mansioni

• Prepares all food items for patients/resident, meal service, staff, cafeteria, and special functions.
• Meets standards established by appropriate leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
• Delivers all products according to time schedule set for the specific item.
• Makes recommendations to leader for all menus.
• Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
• Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food Services.
• Ensures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Formazione

High School or GED Equivalent

ServSafe Certificate - National Restaurant Association Upon Hire
