Job summary

Mangum Skilled Nursing and Therapy is seeking an entry-level Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team in Mangum, OK. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitation, and support the dining services for residents in a compassionate, friendly environment.

We offer training, opportunity to obtain a Food Handler's Card, and benefits for full-time staff. Prior long-term care exposure is preferred but not required, with a supportive team and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Food Handler's Card (We can help with this!)
• Training is provided.
• Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve residents
• Assist the cook team in the preparation and service of meals and beverages using specific procedures
• Maintain strict sanitation and quality standards
• Store food safely and hygienically while working to prevent food spoilage
• Accurately record meals served and monitor food temperatures
• Clean assigned dining and food preparation areas using mandated procedures and following set schedules
• Wash dishes and utensils according to the required standards of practice
• Other responsibilities as assigned
