Job summary

WELLQUEST LIVING LLC at The Remington Club in San Diego, CA seeks a Full-Time CDL Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and activities. You will ensure courteous, safe mobility and assist residents with mobility aids while maintaining schedules and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, mileage logs, and coordination with the Programs team. A clean DMV record and a CDL with passenger endorsement are required, with DOT testing participation

Qualifications

• Must have a clean DMV record and possess a Class C, B, or A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
• A good driving record must be maintained and the candidate must communicate effectively with residents, families and front desk staff.
• Must be enrolled in DOT random substance and alcohol testing; sensitivity and caring for the elderly.
• For communities 16–49 residents, at least 6 months of experience in providing planned activities or related training.
• For communities 50+ residents, 1 year of experience in conducting group activities and supervising staff; waiver possible with an alternative plan.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents and staff to medical appointments, shopping trips, community outings, and scheduled activities.
• Escort residents into and out of medical offices and assist with mobility devices, wheelchairs, and walkers.
• Follow transportation schedules and maintain punctuality; ensure passengers are secured before operation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies; report any vehicle concerns immediately.
• Promote courteous, respectful interactions and assist with resident activities as directed by Programs Director.
