Workstream is hiring as a Personal Care Attendant to provide non-medical services to clients in their homes and communities. Duties include bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring, and assistive tasks to help clients remain at home with dignity.

Responsibilities cover daily living support, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation assistance, and companionship. The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care compliant with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current TB certificate.
• I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
• Completed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
• Completed Personnel Record (LIC 501).
• Completed SOC 341A Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders.
• Current driver’s license with valid vehicle coverage (if transporting clients).

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising, transferring, ambulation).
• Provide nail, hair, mouth, skin care and medication reminders as required.
• Support clients with meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation as needed.

Job Description Summary

Personal Care Attendant-Domestic Caregivers provide non-medical service and assistance to a client in their home and communities, who, because of advanced age or physical or mental disability, cannot perform these services. These services enable the client to remain in his or her residence and include, but are not limited to, assistance with the following: bathing, dressing, feeding, exercising, personal hygiene and grooming, transferring, ambulating, positioning, toileting and incontinence care, assisting with medication that the client self-administers, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, laundry, transportation, correspondence, making telephone calls, shopping for personal care items or groceries, and companionship.

Personal Care Attendant- Domestic Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies, industry standards, and state regulations.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Qualifications include:

• 18 years of age or older;
• Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry;
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate;
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents;
• Completed “Criminal Record Statement” (LIC 508);
• Complete “Personnel Record” (LIC 501)
• Complete “Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders” (SOC 341A)
• Current drivers’ license & valid vehicle coverage (if transporting clients or running errands)
• Minimum of five (5) hours entry-level training prior to presence with client(s).

• mouth care - dressing - exercising
• hair care - feeding - toileting/incontinence care
• nail care - positioning - medication reminding
