Skating Carhop Requirements:

1. Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
2. Flexibility based on restaurant needs
3. Effective communication, basic math, and reading skills
4. Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
5. Knowledge of food service/restaurant industry preferred but not required
6. Friendly, welcoming attitude, and willingness to cross-train
7. Ability to skate or willingness to learn; skaters tend to earn more tips

Position: Carhop

Immediate Supervisor: Manager on Duty (MOD)

Position Summary: Serves product to guests.

Job Duties:

• Ensure product meets quality and appearance standards
• Deliver product by carrying trays up to 25 pounds
• Provide friendly, quick, polite service
• Respond promptly to guest requests
• Report complaints/issues to MOD
• Assist with payments and make change
• Clear trays and trash from vehicles and dining areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Attend regularly

Additional Duties:

• Report employee issues
• Move and stock food weighing up to 50 pounds
• Complete skating training and perform duties on roller skates
• Perform other related duties

Time/Shift Expectations: Flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of restaurant or retail preferred
• Basic math and reading skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and multitask

Work Environment: Standing, bending, reaching, moving, skating, and exposure to heat, cold, and weather conditions
