Like a Grilled Chicken Wrap, the SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Team Member position offers a variety of food service responsibilities.

Skating Carhop Requirements:

• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexibility in all situations based on restaurant needs
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
• General knowledge of the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required
• Friendly and welcoming attitude towards guests
• Willingness to cross-train in all stations and learn to skate
• Skaters tend to earn the most tips

Carhop

Immediate Supervisor:

Manager on Duty (MOD)

Position Summary:

This role involves serving products to guests efficiently and courteously.

Job Duties:

• Ensure product quality and presentation meet standards before delivery
• Deliver products by carrying trays up to 25 pounds
• Provide quick, friendly, and polite service
• Respond promptly to guest requests
• Report complaints or issues to MOD
• Assist guests with payments and make accurate change
• Clear trays and trash from vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Attend regularly and perform other related duties

Additional Duties:

• Report employee concerns to MOD
• Handle food stock weighing up to 50 pounds
• Complete skating training and perform duties on roller skates
• Perform other job-related tasks as needed

Time/Shift Expectations:

Flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
