Qualifications

Responsibilities

As we continue to grow, we only look for the best in the industry.**Job responsibilities:*** Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching of cargo.* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.* Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and operational goals.* Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.* Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of cargo movements.* Monitor and maintain the functionality of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless cargo handling and delivery.* Investigate and resolve operational issues or discrepancies promptly.* Prepare operational reports and updates for management.* Promote a positive and productive work environment by recognizing team contributions.**Safety, Security and Compliance:**All AGI team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:* Take reasonable care for the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work.* Cooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with any legal requirements imposed on the company.* Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager/supervisor, who will then follow the procedures outlined in company policies.* Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific safety or security rules or procedures.* Fully understand AGI’s Health, Safety, and Security policies.* Attend training courses as required by AGI.**Physical Requirements:*** Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods in a warehouse environment.* Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.* Comfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions.* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*** Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.* Excellent leadership and team management skills.* Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.* Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related tools.**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in logistics preferred.* Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.* If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
