Job summary

Kalitta Air, Llc is seeking a Cargo Services Auditor with a strong aviation background. The role requires at least 10 years in aviation and five years as an auditor, plus current Loadmaster status and currency on Kalitta Air aircraft training, including Dangerous Goods and Ground Security.

You will conduct audits of flight operations, station operations, cargo handling and OSHA/EPA functions, review results with the Chief Loadmaster and Cargo Service Manager, and help develop corrective action

Qualifications

• Must have 10 years in aviation and at least 5 years as an auditor.
• Current Loadmaster status and current Kalitta Air aircraft training.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Ground Security required.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisor:Manager of Cargo Services

Prerequisites:

The Cargo Services Auditor must have at least 10 years of experience in aviation and at least five years as an auditor. They must be a current Loadmaster and be current on all Kalitta Air aircraft training, and in Dangerous Goods and Ground Security.

Essential Duties and Responsibility:

• The Cargo Services Auditor reports to the Manager of Cargo Services and performs all the specific job duties of the Loadmaster/Station Representative. Additional essential functions and responsibilities include:
• Conducts audits and evaluations of (but are not limited to) flight operations, station operations, cargo handling and OSHA/EPA functions.
• Reviews audit results with the Chief Loadmaster and Cargo Service Manager and prepare reports.
• Review the development and implementation of corrective actions plans with managers and supervisors
• Maintain and update Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) files and assist in assembling reports.
• Assists the Chief Loadmaster and Cargo Service Manager in the continuous development of the IEP.
• Assists with Loadmaster functions during PEAK or other busy schedules if required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIRMENTS:

• All shifts on a rotating basis. Auditors/Loadmaster’s work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold, as well as rain, and snow.
• Ability to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. on a repeated basis.
• Ability to pass a 10-year criminal background check as well as a DoD background check.
• Ability to obtain a US passport and travel as needed to delegated assignments.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
