The Salvation Army is seeking an on-call Caretaker for emergency maintenance responsibilities. This role involves responding to alarms and conducting light maintenance tasks at the Booth Residence during specified on-call hours, including nights and holidays. Ideal candidates should possess a High School Diploma and strong communication skills to work effectively with older and disabled individuals.

Schedule: On Call: Alternate weeks 4:00pm to 8:30am and holidays
Function: The primary responsibility of the caretaker is to be available for on-site emergency maintenance. Must respond to all alarms on alternate week nights, alternate weekends, and on call Holidays. Other tasks include maintaining the trash compactor during on-call times, communicating with the monitoring company, and performing security tasks as assigned. Must respond to emergency maintenance requests and repair minor jobs. Volunteer position includes coverage of Booth and Catherine Booth residences while on-call during weeknights, alternate weekends, and holidays. Scheduled time away from the property must coincide with the on-call schedule.
