Overview
CARETAKER (HA) – 90645
Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood is required. This position will cover Brooklyn Neighborhood 02, which includes Bayview, Glenwood and Sheepshead-Nostrand.
Responsibilities
- Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces (use of hawk, trowel, Darby, slicker; working of dots and screeds); apply plaster coats (scratch, brown and finish).
- Lathing and plastering bases (channel iron, wire lath, etc.).
- Perform dust control and clean up.
- Mix plastering materials properly.
Career Progression
Caretaker appointments are encouraged to gain the knowledge required for career advancement to Plasterer.
