Job summary

The City of New York is seeking a Caretaker (HA) 90645. Duties include mixing plastering materials, applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces (hawk, trowel, Darby, slicker; scratch, brown and finish coats), lathing and plastering bases, and maintaining dust control.

• Lathing and plastering bases (channel iron, wire lath, etc.).
• Perform dust control and clean up.
• Caretaker Ps appointed are encouraged to gain the knowledge required for career advancement to Plasterer.
