Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caretakers to provide quality in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. As a Caretaker, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being while remaining in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.

As a Caretaker, your duties may include:
Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
Providing support with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning.
Preparing meals and assisting with eating when needed.
Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Assisting with laundry, changing linens, and routine household tasks.
Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Encouraging clients to remain active, engaged, and as independent as possible.
Providing medication reminders according to the care plan and agency guidelines.
Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to supervisors.
Following individualized care plans and service instructions.
Accurately completing required notes and documentation.
Protecting client privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
Communicating professionally with clients, families, and team members.
Following company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience as a caretaker, personal care assistant, direct support professional, home care worker, or in a related caregiving role is preferred but not required.

This role may require:
Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Assisting clients with transfers and mobility support.
Performing tasks outlined in the client's care plan while maintaining safety for both the client and yourself.
