Job summary

Glen Group are recruiting a permanent, full-time Caretaker to join our growing cleaning business in Chesterton. You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, between 08:15-17:15, earning £13.31 per hour. This is a Key Holding role, responsible for unlocking the site each day and keeping the keys safe.

This hands-on position requires cleaning and DIY experience, with full training provided. You must be trustworthy, well-organized, reliable, and able to work with diplomacy with staff,

Responsibilities

• Respond to Customer/ Site Team
• Follow all COSHH, H/S and colour coding
• Use of Timegate for Actual pay
• Daily rectification of faults
• Cleaning a mix of areas thoroughly
• Opening up the building
• Handover the evening Caretaker
• Sweeping & Deweeding the Car Park and around the building
• Water checks & fire alarm tests
• Decorating the building
• Repairing jobs & making sure everything is working safe

Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Caretaker to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in the Chesterton, ST5 area.

You must be available to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 08:15-17:15pm at £13.31 per hour.

This is a Key Holding position, meaning you will be responsible for unlocking the site each day & keeping the keys safe.

This is a hands-on Caretaker position, so cleaning and DIY experience is essential, full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings.

You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail.
